Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026. FN Sprite Tracker is a free, fan-made Fortnite Sprite collection tracker. This page explains what information the site handles, who it's shared with, and the choices you have.

Who runs this site

FN Sprite Tracker (fnsprites.app) is an independent fan project — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. Questions about this policy or your data: dontbemad@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account information (optional). You can use the tracker without an account. If you choose to sign in (via Google, through our authentication provider Supabase), we receive your email address, display name and profile avatar so we can save your collection to your account and show it across devices.
Your collection & activity. The Sprites you mark as owned, your tier votes, your Sprite Garden layout, your chosen display name, and (if you use the stats feature) the Fortnite gamertag you look up.
Data stored on your device. Your collection and preferences are saved in your browser's local storage so the app works even without an account; a session token is stored there when you're signed in.
Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or build cross-site visitor profiles — it reports aggregate page views only.
Advertising data. We show ads through Google AdSense, which may set cookies and use device identifiers (see “Advertising” below).
Player-stats lookups. If you use the stats feature, the gamertag you enter is sent to a third-party Fortnite stats API to fetch public in-game statistics.

Cookies & similar technologies

We don't set our own advertising or tracking cookies. The cookies/identifiers on this site come from your sign-in session (stored in local storage) and from Google AdSense when ads are served. You can control or clear these through your browser settings.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info.

How we use information

To run the tracker and save your collection, to power public features you opt into (leaderboard, shared profiles, the Garden feed and community tier-vote counts), to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app, to display ads that keep the site free, and to respond to bug reports or messages you send us.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run the site: Supabase (authentication & database), Vercel (hosting & cookieless analytics), Google AdSense (advertising), and a Fortnite stats API for gamertag lookups you initiate. Public features show only what you choose to share; community tier results are shown as aggregate vote counts and never reveal who voted.

Your choices & rights

Use the tracker without an account — your data then stays only in your own browser.
Keep your profile/collection private in the app's profile settings.
Export or clear your local data via the in-app Backup tools, and clear your browser storage at any time.
Request access to, or deletion of, the data tied to your account by emailing dontbemad@gmail.com.
Opt out of personalized ads using the links in the Advertising section above.

Data retention & security

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. We rely on our providers' industry-standard security; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
