As of September 2026 there are 164 released Sprite variants — 41 Sprite characters, each in several finishes — across two generations: the Season 3 “Runners” roster and the current Season 4 “Override” generation (16 characters so far). Epic adds more most seasons, and this tracker updates as they drop. Browse them all on the Sprites checklist.

In Season 4 “Override” you unlock Sprites mainly by entering Hack the Lobby (Admin Panel) codes in the Battle Royale lobby and by finding in-world Cheat Codes during matches. Cheat Master is a special Season 4 finish — a flashier, rarer version of an Override Sprite. You unlock them with specific lobby codes (for example, GOTTAGOFAST for the Cheat Master Sonic), and their spawns are boosted during Power Hours. Yes — every Sprite is obtainable through normal gameplay and free lobby codes, with no paywall to collect them (23 codes are working right now). FN Sprite Tracker is free and fan-made too.

Sprites appear in Ranked, but their abilities are disabled there — so in Ranked they are purely cosmetic, and only give gameplay effects in regular modes.

No — the Season 3 “Runners” Sprites are archived and can no longer be obtained in Battle Royale. Any you already collected are kept forever in your Sprite Garden. The season-transition FAQ explains the switch.
