🎨 Fortnite Sprite finishes explained

Every Sprite comes in several finishes — different looks that each layer a small bonus on top of the Sprite’s base ability. Here’s what every finish does and how to get it, from the current Override finishes to the older-generation ones.

Current (Season 4 “Override”) finishes

Normal

Bonus: Base sprite ability

How to get: The base version — any Cheat Code, chest or lobby code can give you a Sprite in its Normal finish.

Gold

Bonus: Bonus elimination XP

How to get: Earned during Gold Hours (a Power Hours window) and from eliminations at higher levels.

Cheatmaster

Bonus: Season 4 “Override” premium finish — unlocked per-Sprite by a specific Hack the Lobby code, not Dust-summoned. A cosmetic finish: it keeps the Sprite’s base ability.

How to get: Unlocked per-Sprite by a specific Hack the Lobby code typed in the Admin Panel — not summoned with Dust.

Loot Hacker

Bonus: Season 4 “Override” finish. Holding a Loot Hacker Sprite gives a +20% (1.2×) chance of Loot Hack items from Chests.

How to get: A Season 4 finish that drops from the usual Override sources (Cheat Codes / chests) once live.

Bounty Hunter

Bonus: Season 4 “Override” finish (v42.20, live Sep 24). Chance to find Sprites when eliminating opponents. Only gains Sprite XP from eliminations, so it levels by fighting rather than from chests.

How to get: A Season 4 finish you unlock by fighting — it has a chance to appear from eliminations, and only levels via elims.

Trick-or-Treat

Bonus: Fortnitemares (Halloween) finish — a spooky Trick-or-Treat recolour across the roster, dropping Oct 8. Cosmetic: it keeps the Sprite’s base ability.

How to get: The Fortnitemares (Halloween) recolour — obtainable during the event on the Sprites that have it.

Older-generation finishes

From earlier seasons — still part of your collection and the Sprite Garden, and some make limited returns during events.

Gummy

Bonus: +20% Sprite Dust on extraction

How to get: An older-generation finish pulled from Sprite Chests (or re-summoned with Sprite Dust).

Galaxy

Bonus: +30% ammo when looting

How to get: An older-generation finish from Sprite Chests / Dust re-summon.

Gem

Bonus: Take 30% less fall damage (stacks with the Sprite’s base ability). Live from New Sprite Day, Aug 6, 2026.

How to get: An older-generation finish from Sprite Chests / Dust re-summon.

Holofoil

Bonus: +5% squad chance to find rare (Gold/Gummy/Galaxy) Sprites from chests

How to get: An older-generation finish from Sprite Chests / Dust re-summon.

Cube

Bonus: Overdrive (speed boost) while you’re in the Storm.

How to get: A rarer older-generation finish (rolled out in waves).

Quack

Bonus: Shares 50% of the XP it earns with every other Sprite in your match — levels your collection faster. Earned via Sprite Mastery rewards, not from chests.

How to get: A mastery-milestone reward — you can’t pull it from chests; master enough Sprites to earn it (see the leveling guide).

Which finishes are worth chasing?

For looks, Cheat Master and Trick-or-Treat are the standouts this season. For a gameplay edge, Loot Hacker (more Loot Hack items) and Bounty Hunter (Sprites from elims) pull their weight, and the Quack finishes are the smartest long-term chase because they speed up your whole mastery grind. Gold is the easy everyday pickup via Power Hours.

FAQ

Do finishes change a Sprite’s ability?

Mostly no — a finish is primarily a cosmetic look, and the Sprite keeps its base ability. Several finishes add a small bonus on top (e.g. Gold grants bonus elimination XP, Loot Hacker boosts Loot Hack item chance), but they don’t replace the ability.

What’s the Cheat Master finish?

It’s the Season 4 “Override” premium finish (the green code look), unlocked per-Sprite with a specific Hack the Lobby code in the Admin Panel — not summoned with Dust. See the full Cheat Master list.

How do I get Gold Sprites?

Gold finishes come from Gold Hours (a Power Hours window) and from eliminations at higher levels. See the Gold Sprites page and the events schedule.

What are the Quack finishes?

Quack is a mastery-milestone reward — not from chests. Master a set number of Sprites to earn each one; they share XP with your other Sprites. Details in the leveling & mastery guide.

Track every finish you own on the collection tracker, grab Cheat Master unlocks from the Lobby Hacks page, and see which Sprites are worth it on the best Sprites ranking.
